The Peak District National Park was designation in 1951, making it the first national park in the United Kingdom.  The park  covers 555 square miles and is an area of outstanding beauty with so much to do and see.  A brilliant place to take the camera, make sure you take a space battery as there is so much to photograph!  You will be spoilt for choice on locations to snap the sunrises and sunsets too.
