Elliott Erwitt born Paris in the late 1920s is an American documentary photographer known for his black and white candid shots of absurd and ironic situations within everyday settings. And I love his quote:
‘To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.’
There is always something to photograph, wherever you are. It just may take a little time to find that hidden gem to interest the eye.
