I loved travelling with a camera in a campervan around New Zealand. I relish the freedom it gives you, stopping by the ocean, scenic mountains or beautiful lakes. There is nothing like opening the campervan door each morning to these amazing scenes. All good vehicles should have a name, and ‘Lucy’ she was christened!
My 3 tops tips for campervan travel are:
- Travel light, storage is limited, and lets face it, you an only wear one pair of anything at one time!
- Invest in a portable power pack and car power inverter if you need to recharge mobile phones / laptops / camera batteries etc.
- I now never travel without cable ties (releasable ones are better). You can hang your washing, seal food bags, secure vehicle parts when they drop off to name but a few!
