There was an abundance of street photography opportunities in Laos – one of my favourite genres.

The children were so photogenic.  Being one of Southeast Asia’s poorest countries, there isn’t a plethora of mobile phones and electronic equipment.  So, they and their families were thrilled when you showed them their photo.  Not speaking the same language was never a problem – the smiles on their faces said it all.
